Property Conveyancing
The legal process of property transfer is called conveyancing and by law all property transfers have to be effected in writing and registered with the land registers. Land and property can be bought, developed, self built, sold, leased, rented, equity shared and co-owned, gifted, mortgaged and remortgaged; there are different legal contract, searching due diligence, transfer, tax return and registration procedures to follow in each eventuality.
How we can help
Wilson Nesbitt have one of the largest property teams in Northern Ireland and can help you sell, purchase, remortgage lease or let properties in Northern Ireland, England and Wales. At the peak of the property market in 2006/7 we were completing over 1500 transactions each month; even in the current difficult market we are still currently completing over 300 transactions each month.
Our team includes solicitors and conveyancers who specialise in this area. We can also bring in other colleagues who specialise in tax, estate administration, business, employment, debt recovery, insolvency or matrimonial matters if necessary.
